Oh, hey. Flipnote's gone.

My previous blog pretty much sums up my reaction to it, even though it was a bit before they actually shut it down.

So now the question remains: What will replace it?

It may be true that deviantart is free and all, but the thing is, flipnote satisfied the need to see art and such from the comfort of the DSi. dA is just too much for the DS's web browser and small memory. So now a big niche is open on the DSi. Whether some company will see and jump on this opportunity is unknown and, to be honest, doubtful.

So what now? Do we just go on a computer instead? Without Flipnote Hatena or an SD card and reader, Studio is pretty much useless. There's really no way of getting your animations or drawings anywhere. However, if you do happen to have an SD card and reader, then you could  post things here. Just save them as gifs (a neet little option in Studio) and that's that.

Case in point: this picture, which is one of the favorites that I've made in Studio.

See? Easy. Ish. Going through all the folders and such is a bit of a hastle, but fairly simple once you know how to do it. But there's no sound on animations. So yeah.

Sorry that it seems like I'm going everywhere, but there are a lot of thoughts swimming around my mind and it's kind of hard to organise them all.
